System One. NxStage ® System One cycler is the heart of the home hemodialysis treatment. It contains blood and fluid pumps, system controls, and sensors that target to provide an effective, reliable treatment, supported by integrated safety features.
How does the NxStage system work? The NxStage System One delivers hemodialysis therapy in a home setting. The System One consists of the following elements: A small control unit containing a fluid pump and user interface (cycler). A disposable dialyzer and tubing set (cartridge).
About NxStage System One. The NxStage System One is the only truly portable hemodialysis system cleared for home use during the day or overnight. The System One received clearance for home hemodialysis treatments in June 2005 and clearance for nocturnal therapy in December 2014.
