Feb 6, 2020 · To summarize, I think that the Wings of Fire books are great to read with younger kids, so long as you are aware of the fighting/violence the text contains. The violence/blood is why I recommend that kids be a little bit older before they are given the books to read independently, perhaps in the 9-10 age range.

Wings of Fire might have originally been written for kids but it's really suitable for any age range. With books like Darkstalker I probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone younger than 11 however. Reply reply
Nov 22, 2022 · What age are the Wings of Fire books appropriate for? The series is certainly one for lovers of action, adventure and fantasy. I would suggest they will be most enjoyable for reasonably confident readers from 10 years of age, possibly 9 years if you child is okay with violence and other sensitive content (see above).
