Nakhlites are a group of Martian meteorites, named after the first one, Nakhla meteorite . Nakhlites are igneous rocks that are rich in augite and were formed from basaltic magma about 1.3 billion years ago. They contain augite and olivine crystals.
Nakhlites. Nakhlites represent lava flows comprised primarily of augite pyroxenes with lesser amounts of Fe-rich olivines (clinopyroxenites), and they show the least shock effects of all the SNC meteorites. From: The Volcanoes of Mars, 2021

Jul 20, 2005 · The seven nakhlite meteorites are augite-rich igneous rocks that formed in flows or shallow intrusions of basaltic magma on Mars. They consist of euhedral to subhedral crystals of augite and olivine (to 1 cm long) in fine-grained mesostases. The augite crystals have homogeneous cores of Mg′=63% and rims that are normally zoned to iron enrichment.
