I’ll also put in a vote for Godless — it’s very good, but you only get the one season. I really wanted to like Godless more than I did, but I feel like Damnation spoiled me for it. I'm also a sucker for Christopher Heyerdahl since Hell on Wheels, so that may also have swayed me more than Jojen Reed lol.

Like the David Milch hit, this is a show about people the edge of lawlessness, despite being set a half-century later. And while USA doesn’t quite allow the profanity, violence, or nudity of HBO, “Damnation” is a dark show about violent people and constant struggles for power.
