She is best known for The Other Kind, The Client, Fried Green Tomatoes, and True Stories.Other films include The Homesman, In the Valley of Elah, The Wendell Baker Story, Secondhand Lions, Waking Up in Reno, All the Pretty Horses, The Outfitters, Floating Away, Scattering Dad, Floundering, Cold Sassy Tree, Tapeheads, and True Stories.
