The joy of Hampden is you can walk up and down the street, window shop, have a bit to eat, find a treasure, and experience a homegrown Main Street atmosphere. Along the Avenue and its side streets there are many shops, restaurants, bars and galleries.

This will bring you right to The Avenue (36th Street). If you’re traveling by light rail, exit at the Woodberry Station which will leave you a 10-15 minute walk from the Avenue.
