Oct 9, 2013 · Tokyo Ravens wasn't groundbreaking, memorable, or brilliant. In fact, it was pretty a pretty generic fantasy action anime with romance elements which is why I withhold too high of a score. However, Tokyo Ravens is without a doubt a very enjoyable show.

It's very good. Animation, music, art style, plot, cast, it all is above the average. It rates highly and is fairly popular. If I remember correctly it even had a conclusion to the story which you don't get very often.

May 21, 2016 · This is still unclear in the anime. As of the time of writing, there are 11 volumes of light novel and the anime adaptation has covered up to volume 9 (titled to The DarkSky). From volume 9 chapter 5 (emphasis mine): Was it a dream? She wasn't sure. Her fuzzy brain still wasn't working well.
- According to the light novel, Natsume is revived through the ritual but there was a problem - she had to be fused with her dragon, Hokuto, or else...

Mar 25, 2014 · Overall (9/10): "Tokyo Ravens" offers a compelling blend of supernatural elements, political intrigue, and character development. Its intricate onmyodo system adds depth to the narrative, and the character-driven storytelling is a standout feature.
So, the general consensus with Tokyo Ravens is: it's fun to watch but it's totally unoriginal. I found while watching this anime that this statement was either true or completely opposite, and that fluctuation between good and bad is what's going to make it super difficult to write this review.
