The Final Cut (subtitled A Requiem for the Post War Dream) is the twelfth studio album by the English rock band Pink Floyd, released on 21 March 1983 through Harvest and Columbia Records. It comprises unused material from the band's previous studio album, The Wall (1979), alongside new material recorded throughout 1982.

Songs like possible pasts and Southampton dock, and the gunners dream and of course the final cut are all absolutely heart-wrenching songs with lush orchestral arrangements. The Final Cut is a Waters album featuring Gilmour's guitar like The Pros and Cons was with Eric Clapton. The Final Cut definitely isn't the best album Roger put out but I can appreciate it. I looove Your Possible Pasts, When the Tigers Broke Free, and The Final cut; the first has been on repeat for me a lot lately.
