9/10. It's gratifying that movies like this are still being made. sarastro7 23 January 2005. I am appalled to see that the overall IMDb rating for this movie is only 5.2 (edit: now down to 4.9! Madness! Later edit: Ah, now it's up to 5.4 - still abysmal. Oh, and now it's up to 5.9 - going the right way, at least!).
Parents say Not yet rated Rate movie. Kids say ( 1 ): This important and affecting story about relief workers gets buried under a syrupy romance as Jolie and Owen gaze longingly at each other across starving and injured people. Director Martin Campbell is much more comfortable with the action scenes than with the romance.
