Izo Hashimoto (橋本 以蔵, Hashimoto Izō, born February 21, 1954) is a Japanese screenwriter and film director. [1] Biography. In 1984, Hashimoto made his directorial debut with the independent film Pasokon Wars Isami, after which he began writing for television with the hit drama series Sukeban Deka. [2]

Shamo (軍鶏) is a Japanese action manga series written by Izo Hashimoto and illustrated by Akio Tanaka. It was first serialized in Futabasha's Weekly Manga Action in 1998 and moved to Evening in 2004. It was discontinued in 2007 due to creative differences but returned in 2011 and ended in 2015.
