Jan 21, 2024 · In september 1976 werd de Noorderburg tussen de Zaandamse Oostzijde en Koog aan de Zaan gesloopt. De brug was niet geschikt voor grote schepen en verderop kwam de nieuwe Alexanderbrug. Vlak naast de brug in Koog lag de fietsenzaak van Meindert Moos (op de foto boven is nog een deel van ‘Gazelle Rijwielen’ te zien).
