(updated Oct 2023) By road [edit] Quedlinburg is located on the B6n dual carriageway that runs along the northern edge of the Harz from west to east. The B6n branches off the A7 motorway near Goslar and the A395 motorway (branches off the A2) from Braunschweig to Vienenburg.
The Tourist Office is located on the Markt at #2. This is a good first stop to get a town map and make hotel reservations if you need them. There is a variety of places to stay, from fancy hotels, reasonable pensions, rooms in homes and a youth hostel. The Tourist Office is open daily Apr-Sept, closed Sundays in winter.
