  5. Theaterical cut of Halloween 2007 is better for me for the sole diffference of not having a disgusting sexual assault scene (during Michael’s escape). Overall, director’s cut for both, though I prefer the escape scene from the first film’s theatrical cut. Each have their own strengths and weaknesses.
