Hirschholm Palace, also known as Hørsholm Palace, was a royal palace located in present-day Hørsholm municipality just north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was rebuilt in the Baroque style in the 1740s and, one of the finest buildings of its time, it became known as the " Versailles of the North".

Hørsholm Local History Museum is a local history museum in Hørsholm, Denmark. Location. The museum is based in a building from 1723 which was designed by crown prince Christian (VI). It served as residence for the estate manager (godsforvalteren) at Hørsholm crown estate which belonged under Hirschholm Palace.
Geografi. I kommunen findes Sjælsø, der deles med Rudersdal Kommune i syd og Allerød Kommune i vest. Søen afvandes af Usserød Å til Øresund . Hørsholm er kommunesæde og byens centrum, der ligger mellem bydelene Rungsted mod øst og Usserød mod nord.
