Jun 2, 2021 · Overall Rating. Getting to Piedmont from US 60 is an adventure. Highway HH is narrow with lots of curves. The signage to the park was also vague. The park itself has plenty of shade. Our site was level and roomy. This is a campground for boats and fishermen. As such there is a bit of traffic on the weekend. The pit toilets were clean.

May 9, 2020 · Overview. Set on the banks of a calming river, just below the entertaining Clearwater Lake lies River Road Park, known as a jolly ol' place to camp. The beautiful area is enhanced each spring by flowering shrubs and trees like the redbud, hawthorn, dogwood and wild plum. And bald eagles stay year-round and are known to nest near the lake.
