Andrew Lazar (born 1966) is an American film producer and graduate of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. He is associated with Mad Chance Productions , a production company he formed in 1997 and affiliated with Warner Bros. , but also has projects involved with other studios. [1]

Andrew Lazar. Producer: American Sniper. After graduating from NYU with majors in film production and political science, Andrew Lazar became the executive vice president of Dino DeLaurentiis Communications, where he developed such films as "Bound" and "Unforgettable, " which premiered at Sundance.
Producer Andrew Lazar optioned the film rights from Columbia in 1997 and set Confessions of a Dangerous Mind at Warner Bros. Pictures that same year. Charlie Kaufman entered discussions to write a new screenplay in June 1997 [4] and finished his first draft later that year.

Production. On February 28, 2019, it was announced that Legendary Entertainment had purchased the project in a competitive bidding war, with Etan Cohen set to write the screenplay. Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage were attached to star in the film as well as produce alongside Andrew Lazar.
