Abbey of the Dormition (German: Dormitio-Abtei, Hebrew: כנסיית הדורמיציון Knesia HaDormitsiyon, Arabic: كنيسة رقاد السيدة العذراء) is a Catholic abbey belonging to the Benedictine Order in Jerusalem, on Mount Zion, just outside the walls of the Old City near the Zion Gate.

The Church of the Dormition is a basilica on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, where tradition claims the Virgin Mary died or "fell asleep". It is built on the site of a former Byzantine monastery and has a mosaic of Mary and Jesus. It is part of the Benedictine monastery of the Hagia Maria Sion Abbey, which was built by the Emperor Constantine in the 4th century.
