Television actress who is best known for her recurring role on the Netflix original series Atypical. She is also a singer, writer, and director for a multitude of stage productions.
She began performing in Off-Broadway theater. Eventually, she joined the Roundabout Theater Company's Student Production Workshop as a student playwright. It was there that she began to explore her interest in acting and penned her first play.
In Brooklyn, she was awarded by the mayor Michael Bloombergfor being an exemplary member of the community.
She was directed by Mike Mills and starred alongside Annette Bening, Elle Fanning, and Greta Gerwigin the 2016 film 20th Century Women.
