Dark Crimes (originally released in film festivals before 2018 as True Crimes) is a 2016 crime drama film directed by Alexandros Avranas and written by Jeremy Brock. The film was based on a 2008 article in The New Yorker by David Grann titled "True Crime: A Postmodern Murder Mystery", which was an inspiration for the first movie title.
