- Jason London as Randall "Pink" Floyd. London starred as Randall "Pink" Floyd, the star of the high school's football team. He is asked at the beginning of the film to sign a pledge that he promises to not do drugs or participate in any activity that would jeopardize the team's goal of winning the championship game in the upcoming season.
- Matthew McConaughey as David Wooderson. Wooderson, who despite being in his early 20s, is Pink's friend who regularly hangs out with other high school students.
