  2. Ernest Scared Stupid is by far the best Ernest movie yet. Our lovable bumbling idiot has to save the day this time from a bunch of trolls. Sounds like a cheap horror flick plot, but once you factor in Ernest.....its non stop side splitting Ernest P. Worrell action. I mean, it even has his faithful dog Rimshot in it. You can't go wrong with that.

  3. Oct 9, 2023 · Obviously, the plot sounds ridiculous, and the level of absurdity that ensues does have some eye-rolling moments. (Like when Ernest and his kid friends realize that the troll’s weakness is milk, prompting them to launch a full-blown dairy battle against the creatures to save the town.)

  8. Oct 30, 2013 · Rating – 4/5. Jim Varney, or Ernest P. Worrell as most of you know him as, was a man who created a comedy vehicle that would carry him through two decades and a wide range of media from commercials to feature films. Love him or hate you, you have to give the man credit for bringing slapstick to a whole new generation.
