   • I love the original Father Brown and play them over and over. Cast and story lines meshed well. Father Brown was all for saving souls, even dead souls. Season 10 brings in 2 new members of the cast, both women who help Father Brown solve crimes. Neither is a good fit.

   Is Father Brown a good detective?

   • His hallmark is his humility in dealing with a variety of characters who either dislike Catholics, or have no respect for him as a sleuth, or are just plain rude (like Inspector Mallory). Father Brown never stops trying to do the right thing, and he is a great example of a mystery detective, and a human being.
