Johann Maria Eduard Strauss III (16 February 1866 – 9 January 1939; German: Johann Strauß III) was an Austrian composer whose father was Eduard Strauss, whose uncles were Johann Strauss II and Josef Strauss, and whose grandfather was Johann Strauss I.
Johann III remains the only musician of the Strauss dynasty to have been decorated by the British royal family, having in 1903 been made a member of the Royal Victorian Order by King Edward VII (for whose coronation with Queen Alexandra in 1902 he wrote his Krönungs-Walzer op.40).
