Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 2 just lets the creativity and ridiculousness flow throughout the experience. Kubot is a little less gritty than the first one. The effects were also kind of moderated in comparison, but the movie shines better when it's all about the characters dealing with their own situations in a rather comical way.
Kubot, The Aswang Chronicles 2. MAKOY, SONIA, NESTOR and baby MAKY are on the first bus out to Manila right after the ending of the first franchise. Makoy and Sonia talk about plans for their family but they are still far from safe. On their heels, the Kubot aswang led by their elder, VERON is in pursuit.
