Our review: Parents say ( 11 ): Kids say ( 30 ): The Lizzie McGuire depiction of friendship is fairly realistic and very positive. Within the narrative of the show and through a plot device that allows viewers to hear what Lizzie is thinking, the audience gets a good picture of what it means to grow up for both boys and girls.
