Oldrich (also Ulrich or Oldrich) (ca. 975 – 11 November 1034) was the duke of Bohemia from 1012 to 1033 and briefly in 1034. He was a son of Boleslaus II and brother of Boleslaus III and Jaromir. Oldrich deposed Jaromir on 12 April 1012 and recognised the suzerainty of the Holy Roman Emperor.
Oldřich was the third son of Duke Boleslaus II of Bohemia (d. 999)[2] and the son one of his father's two wives: Adiva or Emma of Mělník. Upon the death of his father, his eldest brother Boleslaus III succeeded as duke, however, he soon entered into a fierce conflict with his younger brothers Oldřich and Jaromír.
