  6. More. Review by Josh Gillam ★★. Former gunfighter Banner Cole (Audie Murphy) goes after a group of outlaws who have brutalised a small town, aided by a ragtag group each with a score to settle, in this western co-starring John Saxon, Zohra Lampert, Vic Morrow, Robert Keith and Royal Dano.

  7. Jul 6, 2023 · Review: Well done, surprisingly violent Western, with Murphy turning in a convincing performance as an embittered gunman who’s pretty much given up on his fellow man. Saxon also delivers a solid performance as the tenderfoot forced to travel along with the posse to make sure the bank’s money is recovered.

  8. A review by John Chard. Murphy goes after bad guys who shot his friend the sheriff and abducted a local girl. In a plot reminiscent of High Noon, the posse of town blowhards gradually abandons Murphy; only tenderfoot banker Saxon remains, to prove his manhood.
