- Carol K. New York City, NY 443 contributions. Unlike anything else. Actually, I visited before the date I mentioned, but it was memorable. The factory and office complex is one of the most amazing architectural experiences available in the USA.

Having visited a lot of FLW sites in the previous week, we were pleased that there was a tour of Wingspread on a day we could get there - otherwise, coming from the UK, we were unlikely to have another chance.

- Check out Racine Heritage Museum. Racine Heritage Museum is also Downtown. Here visitors can learn about the role the city played in the Underground Railroad, the secret routes used by enslaved African Americans to flee into free states, and how the Racine Belles won the first championship in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League in the 1940s, which was later portrayed in the film, A League of their Own.
