  1. 7/10. Commendable film with many well-known Western actors. Marlburian 11 March 2018. Several offerings of this film are available on YouTube, and I'm surprised that so far there are only two reviews here on IMDB - and these sum up RTMD very well indeed.

  4. Ride the Man Down is a 1952 American Western film directed by Joseph Kane, written by Mary C. McCall, Jr., and starring Brian Donlevy, Rod Cameron, Ella Raines, Forrest Tucker, Barbara Britton, Chill Wills and J. Carrol Naish. The film was released on November 25, 1952, by Republic Pictures.

  5. Review by Jeff Westerhoff. In 1890, John Henry Cole is working as a deputy for Judge Roy Bean in Texas when he is asked to undertake an assignment for Judge Issac Parker in Arkansas. He is to enter an area known as the Indian Nations to capture a band of five renegades led by a white man named Caddo Pierce.

  6. Review: Adapted from a Luke Short story, a deep cast makes this an enjoyable 1950s Western, even if the outcome — at least where Will and Celia are concerned — is pretty predictable. In addition to the leads, the cast includes Chill Wills as Ballard’s sidekick, Brian Donlevy, Jim Davis, J. Carroll Naish and Paul Fix.

  7. Review by Mike Johnson ★★★½ A cast chock full of Western regulars and a couple of quality semi-regulars plus a better than average script helps keep this Republic A-minus oater programmer interesting.
