      • Although "Suburban Commando," which was directed by Burt Kennedy and written by Frank Cappello, has little narrative continuity, it is well paced and has an amusingly sour performance by Larry Miller as the kind of boss you love to hate. "Suburban Commando" is rated PG (Parental guidance suggested). It includes scenes of violence.

  6. Let me just say that Suburban Commando has a great plot, is very well-written, and delivers in both the comedy and action departments. It is also definitely the best Hulk Hogan movie (I say this after watching the horrible Mr. Nanny). It's been 17 years already, Hulk, how long do we have to wait for Suburban Commando 2?!

  7. On Rotten Tomatoes the film has an approval rating of 15% based on 13 reviews. Roger Ebert noted, "This is the second feature starring Hulk Hogan, the man who looks like a comic strip hero. Hogan's range is limited, but not as limited as the movies he's appeared in.
