  2. Our review: Parents say ( 7 ): Kids say ( 33 ): Adults will no doubt watch The Brady Bunch with nostalgic fondness, remembering when they first watched the Bradys build a card house, go to Hawaii, or camp in the Grand Canyon.

To start off the list, the season 2 episode "The Slumber Caper", follows Marcia as she tries to host a slumber party with her friends. Her plans are halted when the principal finds a rude drawing of her teacher. He believes Marcia drew it, but she denies it. However, her parents don't believe her and cancel the slumber party. After thinking about M...

In the season 4 episode "Greg's Triangle", Greg starts to date one of his classmates named Jennifer. Later, it's revealed that both Jennifer and Marcia are trying out for head cheerleader, and Greg is on the voting committee. The Brady family has had quite a musical career in the show. Two of their most popular songs, "It's a Sunshine Day" and "Keep On", are featured in the season 4 episode "Amateur Nite". In the episode, the kids have to raise enough money to get their parents an anniversary present. After several of their attempts to gain money fail, Jan enters all of...

Everyone reacts differently to finding out they have to wear glasses. Some are happy that they get to have a new look, while others are ashamed of it. In Jan's case, she wasn't too happy to discover that she did need to wear glasses. In the season 3 episode "The Not-So-Rose-Colored Glasses", Jan has trouble seeing and has to get new glasses. RELATE...

A well-known part of Jan's character is always feeling inferior to Marcia. One of the earlier episodes to explore Jan's issues with self-worth is "Will the Real Jan Brady Please Stand Up?" from season 2. In the episode, Jan gets an invitation to a birthday party, but the envelope is addressed to Marcia. Even though it was meant for Jan, she still h...

Even though the episode doesn't take place on Halloween, season 4's "Fright Night" has more than a few themes to make up a Halloween episode. After the boys and girls take turns scaring each other, Alice claims that she isn't afraid of anything. Marcia and Greg decide to try and scare her after promising they wouldn't scare one another. While Alice...

In the season 3 episode "Getting Davy Jones", Marcia and her friends struggle to find a singer to perform at their prom. After Jan tells them that Davy Jones is coming to their town, Marcia promises that she could get him to perform. As interesting as it would be, she intends to find the singer of the Monkees, not Davy Jones from Pirates of the Car...

In many of The Brady Bunchepisodes, the family takes a vacation. They've been to numerous places throughout the show, including Kings Island, The Grand Canyon, and Hawaii. The season 4 episode "Hawaii Bound" begins the Bradys' three-part adventure in The Aloha State. In this episode, Mike is sent to Hawaii for his construction company, and he takes...

One of the highest-rated episodes of The Brady Bunch, season 4's episode "The Subject Was Noses", follows Marcia wanting to go on a date with a dreamy classmate named Doug. But as she already has a date with another classmate named Charley, she has to call things off with him first. RELATED: The Brady Bunch: The Worst Thing Each Main Character Has ...

It's already been established that Jan often feels lost in Marcia's shadow. In fact, a famous quoteof hers is "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia" from the season 3 episode "Her Sister's Shadow". Jan's feelings of inadequacy are the subject of multiple episodes, including this one. In this episode, Jan is tired of being compared to Marcia and wants to make a n...

  4. I'm surprised The Brady Bunch hasn't received more votes and user reviews. Anyway, I love The Brady Bunch, being a reliable staple of after-school TV, along with Batman, Gilligan's Island, and I Dream of Jeannie. In some ways The Brady Bunch was well ahead of its time, with step-parents and six kids who dated each other in real life.

  7. Feb 17, 1995 · The film establishes a bland, reassuring, comforting Brady reality - a certain muted tone that works just fine but needs, I think, a bleaker contrast from outside to fully exploit the humor. "The Brady Bunch Movie" is rated PG-13, which is a compromise: The Bradys themselves live in a PG universe, and the movie would have been funnier if when ...
