The Gentle Sex is a 1943 British black-and-white romantic comedy-drama war film, directed by Leslie Howard and Maurice Elvey and narrated by Howard. It was produced by Concanen Productions, Two Cities Films, and Derrick de Marney. It was Howard's last film before his death.

The trick in this movie is keeping track of the seven girls - seven dual main characters. All are very different young ladies who, by chance, manage to travel in the same train compartment off to their base.
Review by PUNQ ★★ Could have been something interesting, especially as it comes across those cool and dry documentaries they made in the UK during war times. But without the voice-overs, its loose plot and few properly introduced characters, The Gentle Sex (1943) becomes a unnecessary dull affair.
