This Above All was the first film to be shown in the newly constructed theater, and the event reportedly drew many celebrities, including Laurel and Hardy, Jackie Cooper and Joe E. Brown. In the summer of 1942, Lux Radio Theatre aired a radio adaptation of the story, starring Tyrone Power, reprising his film role, and Barbara Stanwyck.
