Weatherford (/ ˈ w ɛ ð ər f ər d / WEDH-ər-fərd) is a city and the county seat of Parker County, Texas, United States. In 2020, its population was 30,854. Weatherford is named after Thomas J. Weatherford, a State senator and advocate for Texas's secession to the Confederate States.

It is the county seat of Parker County and is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Weatherford is located 25 miles (40 km) west of Fort Worth on Interstate 20.
