Dec 18, 2006 · EDIT 2: Norseman_AOE3’s Comment below is correct. All of the civilizations herded animals behave exactly the same except for the Iroquois. The Iroquois get a -25% fattening time penalty during the Discovery and Colonial Age.

I'm interested in seeing a few other peoples thougths on AOE3. I bought it last week and have played a few games, and so far, am not impressed. I think they spent too much time trying to improve the graphics, when thats not why I play strategy type games, I feel that the game play is hindered by the advanced graphics.

Home Cities are a major addition to AoE3 and a huge innovation to the Real Time Strategy genre, providing a role-playing game element in a real-time strategy game. Your cities in Europe send shipments to your colony in the New World, supporting more and more depending on its success.

My long-term goal is to create (like many others have done) a downloadable fantasy military version of AOE3 with all new unit and building designs and abilities.
