Oct 21, 2003 · The Eye was a fantastic horror movie. I am a hardcore horror movie fan and have seen not too many foreign horror movies. Angelica Lee plays a blind girl who gets a cornea transplant to see it again but realizes soon she got more than she bargained for. She sees haunting visions and ghosts. I won't say too much more.

In the first film, the Pang Brothers made the main character to see ghosts after receiving a corneal transplant. In this sequel they're take a new horror story about ability of seeing ghost triggered by apparent death.

She submits to a surgery of cornea transplantation, and while recovering from the operation, she realizes that she is seeing dead people.
Aug 9, 2005 · The Eye 2 is another great mother/horror film that meditates on the incredible anxiety inherent in being pregnant, especially alone. I called it horror, but it's not really horrifying. It's beautiful and atmospheric and so so painful, but the scary parts hit you in real life scary places, especially anxieties around child-rearing.
