Oct 21, 2015 · Faces had difficulty following up the high watermark of A Nod with 1973's Ooh La La, the band's final studio album. Though Rod Stewart's voice is the first one heard on the album, he was increasingly distracted by the needs of his own solo career.

The Faces released four studio albums and toured regularly until the autumn of 1975, although Stewart simultaneously pursued a solo recording career, and during the band’s final year Wood also toured with The Rolling Stones, whom he later joined.
Bassist Ronnie Lane took over on vocals for some of the tracks on the album, including “ You ’ re So Rude, ” “ Last Orders Please, ” and “ Debris. ” Comparisons between the Faces albums and Rod Stewart ’ s solo work started to surface, especially since the same musicians played on both recordings.
