    Saddle Tramps was founded in 1936 by Arch Lamb, Bud Thompson, and Paul "Grandma" Bowers. Saddle Tramps is the oldest organization on campus, and our goals are to protect and preserve all of Texas Tech's time-honored traditions. Since our founding, we have either created, or helped create, some of Tech's best and most recognizable traditions.
