Early life [ edit] Zaentz was born on February 28, 1921, in Passaic, New Jersey, the youngest of five. [2] [3] [4] His parents were Polish Jewish immigrants. As a child, Zaentz attended William B. Cruz Memorial school number 11 in Passaic.
