Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation. The Susan T. Buffett Foundation provides scholarships to first-time first-year students entering a Nebraska public university or college. The scholarship is renewable for up to 5-years based on meeting scholarship requirements.
Nov 1, 2023 · The Susan T. Buffett Foundation Scholarship Program is available to first-time entering freshmen residing in Nebraska. Graduating high seniors, graduates, and adult learners who attended Nebraska high school with plans to attend a public college or university in Nebraska are eligible to apply.

It was known simply as the Buffett Foundation until 2004, when it was renamed in honor of Susan Buffett, who died that year. As of 2014, the Foundation ranked fourth among family foundations by grants paid.
