Dr. Hall, in 1968, with the 1,200 Ton Cubic Press he designed. Tracy was born in Ogden in 1919 to Howard and Florence Tracy Hall. He graduated from Weber College in 1939 and earned his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from the University of Utah in 1942.
Hall attended Weber College for two years, and married Ida-Rose Langford in 1941. He went to the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he received his BSc in 1942 and his MSc in the following year. For the next two years, he served as an ensign in the U.S. Navy.

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State University is moving ahead with plans to construct the new Tracy Hall Science Center thanks to the Utah State Legislature’s funding of $57.4 million for the project. The building will be named the Tracy Hall Science Center in honor of two local families that have enjoyed a long legacy with WSU.
Slated to be ready for classes in Fall 2016, Tracy Hall will be built on the current site of Buildings 3 and 4, right in the heart of the Ogden campus.
