Translating your writing. To replace text in a Google document with its translation, follow the same steps as translating text to read first: First select the text, then press the keyboard shortcut (⇧+⌘+Y for Mac / Ctrl+Shift+Y for Windows) or click the DeepL icon to open the translation in a small window on top of your Google document.

Translate a document. On your computer, open a document in Google Docs. In the top menu, click ToolsTranslate document. Enter a name for the translated document and select a language. Click Translate. A translated copy of your document will open in a new window. You can also see this copy in your Google Drive.
