On November 19, 2007, during the final rose ceremony, Womack became the first lead in the history of the show to reject all of the contestants.

The season re-aired in a shortened version on July 20, 2020, as a part of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons - Ever!.
Future appearances
DeAnna Pappas was chosen in the 4th season of The Bachelorette, while Jenni Croft made an appearance in that season as well. In 2010, Womack returned for the second time as the bachelor in the 15th season of The Bachelor to be aired the following year. In 2012, Sarah Newlon returned in the 3rd season of Bachelor Pad, finishing in 3rd/4th, as 2nd runner-up.
DeAnna Pappas is married to Stephen Stagliano, brother of Michael Stagliano, and they have two children, daughter Addison Marie and son Austin Michael.
