Beirut Arab University (BAU) (Arabic: جـامعة بيروت العربية, romanized: Jāmʻah Bayrūt al-ʻArabīyah) is a Lebanese private university mainly located in Beirut, Lebanon. It was founded by the Lebanese Waqf El-Bir wal Ihsan Society in 1960. The university's main campus is situated close to the southern entrance of Beirut.

About Beirut Arab University. Beirut Arab University, founded in 1960, has grown to encompass four campuses and 10 faculties. It offers 37 undergraduate programmes and 131 postgraduate programmes to students from Lebanon and other countries. In addition to Lebanese students, about 3,500 non-Lebanese students join BAU every year.
