Peter Kastner (1 October 1943 – 18 September 2008) was a Canadian-born actor who achieved prominence as a young man in lead roles in the popular 1964 film Nobody Waved Good-bye and in Francis Ford Coppola 's 1966 well-received comedy You're a Big Boy Now.
Peter Kastner. Actor: You're a Big Boy Now. Peter Kastner graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) with a degree in Modern European History. He studied also at UCLA for a Masters degree in that field but put those studies aside to pursue acting work.

Aug 19, 2009 · Soon afterward, Kastner was nominated for a BAFTA Film Award for most promising newcomer for his performance in the 1966 film You’re a Big Boy Now, directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Kastner went on to appear regular in both Canadian and American films and television series.
