As of the end of December 2017, downloading the Media Go™ app will no longer be possible. We have introduced the Music Center for PC app. This app offers enhanced support for Walkman® devices and Hi-Res Audio compatible devices.
Feb 1, 2024 · Follow the steps below to transfer your media files using the Media Go software. Connect your Walkman player to the computer. In the Library pane, choose the category for the content you want to transfer (such as Music, Movies & TV Shows, Podcasts, Photos & Home Videos, or Playlists).
When your Windows computer is connected to the Internet, the latest version of Media Go is automatically searched and downloaded. If a message to install the latest version of Media Go appears, click the message and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.

It's also the only way to access the PlayStation Store from your PC, so if you don't have a wireless router or a PS3 , it's your only way to get PSP downloads from the PlayStation Network .
Installing Media Go. Install Media Go to your Windows computer. Connect your Walkman to your Windows computer using the USB cable (supplied). Open the “WALKMAN” folder by following one of the procedures below depending on the operating system of your computer.
