Feb 1, 2024 · Follow the steps below to transfer your media files using the Media Go software. Connect your Walkman player to the computer. In the Library pane, choose the category for the content you want to transfer (such as Music, Movies & TV Shows, Podcasts, Photos & Home Videos, or Playlists).
When your Windows computer is connected to the Internet, the latest version of Media Go is automatically searched and downloaded. If a message to install the latest version of Media Go appears, click the message and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
As of end December 2017, downloading the Media Go application will no longer be possible. The Music Center for PC app is available since August 2017, and offers enhanced support for your WALKMAN® device(s) and Hi-Res Audio compatible products, thanks to an easy file management system as well as Hi-Res Audio playback capability.
Media Go. ”? “ Music Center for PC ” supports new audio formats. Additionally, the main functions of “ Music Center for PC ” are playing or managing songs, and transferring songs to audio devices such as the WALKMAN ® using a computer. However, “ Music Center for PC ” omits the functions for videos and photos.
If you have already managed content such as music with iTunes, etc., you can use Media Go to transfer the content to the Walkman. Media Go is software that allows you to import various content to your Windows computer, manage the content and transfer it to your Walkman.
