Hull, music clubs paid between $1.50 and $5.50 for a CD, which they then sold for $16. He reports that if the clubs sold one out of every three discs, they'd make close to $8 in profit.

Apr 21, 2003 · The BMG sale right now that I'm freaking out about averages $ 7.19 a disc. Go for BMG. Better sales, you only have to buy 1 disc. Easy online shopping. I'm in both and I like BMG way better. I haven't gotten a chance to cancel Columbia House yet. bartels76, Apr 21, 2003.

May 3, 2018 · The BMG music club offered stories, but it also provided an opportunity: my father liked music. Maybe I could find him somewhere inside of it. In my memory the CDs took months to come, though it couldn’t have been more than a few weeks. My mother and sister worked during the days, so I got our mail and kept my purchase concealed from my mother.
