When to get there. The Madrid Teleférico is open seven days a week, and holds seasonal hours. The Teleférico holds later weekend hours, and may close in windy weather conditions and during thunderstorms. This is a busy weekend destination if the weather's pleasant, so expect crowds if you visit on Saturday or Sunday.
The Madrid Cable car is brilliant. Its 25 minutes round trip, seats 4 people and only costs 6 euros. It crosses over the biggest urban park in Madrid, Casa De Campo. Its very scenic and surprisingly has some high points. It also crosses over the river, trainline and motorway.
